About the position

The position involves the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment, and associated components in accordance with Company manuals and manufacturer's manuals, including policies, Procedures Bulletins, and Orders. Mechanics will be required to sign for work accomplished and must remain constantly alert for defective, worn, or failed parts as well as safe working conditions. Additional responsibilities may include housekeeping duties such as policing the work area or maintaining company property. Mechanics will perform all tasks assigned by the Supervisor or higher management and will be directly responsible to the Director of Quality Control when exercising authority under the RII provisions of the manual. Attendance at all Company training classes as assigned by the Director of Maintenance is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Sign for work accomplished.
  • Remain alert for defective, worn, or failed parts and ensure safe working conditions.
  • Perform housekeeping duties related to the work area and company property maintenance.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the Supervisor or higher management.
  • Be responsible to the Director of Quality Control when exercising authority under RII provisions.
  • Attend Company training classes as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check.
  • Experience with 757/767 aircraft.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, sit for extended periods, and comply with attendance requirements.
  • Experience with Parts 121, 125, 145; Heavy transport category aircraft experience preferred.
  • Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).
  • Valid passport or ability to obtain one.
  • Willingness to travel to other ATI stations for maintenance as directed by the department manager.

  • Experience with heavy transport category aircraft.
