The Maintenance Representative is responsible for conducting and overseeing the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and aircraft communication equipment at remote locations where no other ATI support exists. This role requires adherence to Company manuals, manufacturer's manuals, and FAA procedures to ensure the safety of the aircraft and compliance with regulations. The Maintenance Representative must oversee non-ATI individuals/contractors, ensuring all work is completed according to safety standards. They are also responsible for maintaining the aircraft's Spares Parts Kit and procuring necessary maintenance services when required. The position demands effective communication with Maintenance Control and the ability to work independently while keeping the aircraft clean and presentable. Additionally, the Maintenance Representative assumes the duties of the Maintenance Supervisor when mechanics are present and must attend all assigned training classes.
