About the position

The Maintenance Representative is responsible for conducting and overseeing the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and aircraft communication equipment at remote locations where no other ATI support exists. This role requires adherence to Company manuals, manufacturer's manuals, and FAA procedures to ensure the safety of the aircraft and compliance with regulations. The Maintenance Representative must oversee non-ATI individuals/contractors, ensuring all work is completed according to safety standards. They are also responsible for maintaining the aircraft's Spares Parts Kit and procuring necessary maintenance services when required. The position demands effective communication with Maintenance Control and the ability to work independently while keeping the aircraft clean and presentable. Additionally, the Maintenance Representative may assume the duties of the Maintenance Supervisor when mechanics are utilized at a location.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and oversee the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components and powerplants.
  • Sign for work accomplished and oversee non-ATI individuals/contractors at remote locations.
  • Ensure all work is accomplished in accordance with FAA and Company procedures.
  • Alert flight crew to defective, worn, or failed parts and unsafe working conditions.
  • Maintain the aircraft's Spares Parts Kit and ensure required materials are available.
  • Work with Company hired agents to procure maintenance services and support.
  • Keep Maintenance Control apprised of the aircraft's status and provide completed log pages.
  • Conduct housekeeping duties to keep the assigned aircraft clean and presentable.
  • Assume duties of the Maintenance Supervisor when mechanics are utilized.
  • Attend all Company training classes as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years proven line maintenance experience on 767/757 aircraft.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).
  • Valid passport and Driver's License.
  • Ability to travel up to 3 weeks per month.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with B 757/767 aircraft.
  • Experience with Parts 121, 125, 145.
  • Heavy transport category aircraft experience.
