About the position

The Mental Health Advocacy Service has a vacancy for a supervisory position responsible for overseeing attorneys who represent mental health clients and child welfare clients. This role includes supervising support staff, students, and others as needed, managing case load distribution, coordinating with other professionals, implementing agency policies, and training staff. Requirements

  • Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice law.
  • Four years of experience as a practicing attorney.
  • Valid driver's license for necessary travel.
  • Valid bar license.

  • Experience working with persons with mental illness and/or disabilities.
