About The Position
The Austin Water (AMI) Water Meter Technician Senior is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of water meters in a heavy industrial setting. This position requires performing all duties associated with water meter operations in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain. The technician must be adaptable and willing to change workloads on demand while multitasking. The role involves working in environments that may have hazardous situations, including confined spaces and heights. The technician will also lead and train others on AMI software installations and meter inspections.
