About the position

The Autism Services Coordinator (Qualified Professional) at the Autism Society of North Carolina is responsible for assisting adult individuals with autism in achieving their personal goals. This full-time position focuses on building relationships with participants and overseeing the implementation of treatment plans to promote independence and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with participants to enhance their lives.
  • Oversee the implementation of treatment plans for individuals receiving services.
  • Enable participants to achieve maximum independence and self-direction in their homes.
  • Support participants in engaging successfully within their communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in the field of human services with 2 years of experience in providing 24-hour services for individuals with I/DD, or a Master's degree in a related field with at least 1 year of experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record and acceptable automobile liability insurance.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with individuals with autism or I/DD.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
