About the position

DeSHAZO provides various companies with engineered solutions that help to improve the quality or productivity of an existing manufacturing/assembly process. Their engineering teams visit customer sites, observe manufacturing processes and prepare a 3-D conceptual design of the equipment or system to meet client's requirements. Their engineering teams design, build, and install one work cell or a complete automation system in various facilities. They focus on automated systems for manufacturing environments with processes such as assembly, testing/inspection, material handling, welding, equipment control, and robotic vision and packaging systems. Most of their customers work in heavy manufacturing or automotive industries.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated systems for manufacturing environments.
• Prepare 3-D conceptual designs of equipment or systems based on client requirements.
• Work on machine design projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build and install automation systems.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss project status and performance measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but machine design experience is acceptable without a degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of machine design experience, preferably with an automation/robot integrator.
• Proficiency in 3D design software, preferably Solidworks; knowledge of Solidworks macros is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work hands-on when needed.
• Ability to work independently, be task-oriented, and self-starting.
• Project management experience.

• BSME degree and experience with Solidworks modeling and macros.
