About the position

Taverna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat is seeking a Commercial Account / Fleet Sales Manager to enhance their commercial vehicle sales department. This role focuses on developing sales strategies, building relationships with fleet managers and business owners, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive sales, particularly in commercial vehicles, and will be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective sales tactics and client management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to grow the dealership's commercial vehicle sales department, targeting businesses, government agencies, and fleet operators.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with fleet managers, business owners, and government officials; serve as the main contact for sales inquiries.
  • Stay up-to-date on commercial vehicle inventory, including specs, pricing, and incentives; lead product demos and presentations tailored to clients.
  • Handle complex sales negotiations, including bulk orders and fleet packages, and work with finance to get the best financing options for clients.
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs; present sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
  • Work with service, parts, and finance teams to ensure seamless client delivery and support; negotiate fleet discounts and incentives with manufacturers.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction standards in all sales processes and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in automotive sales, with 2-3 years in commercial vehicle sales or fleet management.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial vehicles, fleet management, and leasing options.
  • Proven success in B2B sales, particularly in the automotive or commercial vehicle sector.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels, from small businesses to large corporations.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of financing and leasing options for commercial vehicles.
  • Highly organized, results-driven, and self-motivated.
