AVP - Senior FP&A Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in business line format, focusing on business line profitability and performance against targets.
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
• Provide commentary and analytics on month-on-month performance, actual to budget to forecast deviations.
• Conduct cost control for support areas and projects, analyzing cost trends, explaining variances to budget, and proposing remediation actions.
• Create presentations to management and individual department managers on North America performance including P&L, Balance Sheet, Capital Usage, Client Data, etc.
• Ensure accuracy of reporting data sources to the official books and records of the bank.
• Support the coordination of budget and forecast processes for the North America region.
• Ensure proper controls are in place to mitigate potential reporting errors.
• Act as a partner and advisor to the businesses and support areas.
• Participate in special projects and ongoing automation enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in Financial Reporting or Controller function.
