About The Position

The AWS DevOps Engineer position at Randstad US is a contract role focused on implementing and supporting Okta Security products and AWS services. The engineer will be responsible for deploying applications, providing technical support, and improving access administration processes. This role requires strong experience in CI/CD, AWS infrastructure, and user provisioning protocols.

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience as an AWS Sr. DevOps Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Okta User provisioning and authentication protocols (SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, OAuth).
• Strong hands-on experience in AWS services (EC2, ELB, EBS, VPC, S3, CloudFormation, IAM, Lambda, Terraform) with automation for AWS infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong understanding of Web applications and APIs (RESTful APIs, JSON, XML).
• Experience with user provisioning using SCIM.
• Strong hands-on experience with GIT, Maven, Bitbucket, Bamboo.
• Experience with large program Okta implementation.
• Experience working with various Database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL, RDS).
• Analytical and strong problem resolution skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement and deploy Business and Vendor applications using Okta OIN, SAML connectors.
• Provide Senior level technical support in resolving technical issues.
• Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of Okta Cloud software and infrastructure platforms, including testing and log analysis.
• Triage and resolve production incidents, determine root cause, and implement corrective action.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.
• Accountable for meeting quality, productivity, and service standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of access administration processes and procedures.
• Provide production on-call and remote support off hours when needed.
