About the position
The AWS Sr. Cloud Engineer for National Security is responsible for implementing innovative cloud computing solutions for U.S. Intelligence Community agencies. This role involves consulting, designing, and building cloud solutions while ensuring adherence to security best practices. The position requires strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for working with diverse Intelligence Community customers to drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Implement innovative cloud computing solutions for U.S. Intelligence Community agencies.
- Educate and train customers on cloud solutions and architectures.
- Design and build serverless distributed solutions on AWS.
- Collaborate with AWS teams to deliver the right solutions and drive feature innovation.
- Participate in deep-dive education and design exercises to create innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of professional or military experience.
- 7+ years of consulting, design, and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience.
- 3+ years of software development experience with an object-oriented language.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Nice-to-haves
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
- Experience in technology/software sales consulting or equivalent skills.
- Professional experience architecting, deploying, and operating solutions built on AWS.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
