About the position

The Azure Cloud Application Developer role at Mastech Digital involves developing and maintaining cloud applications using Microsoft Azure technologies. This contract position is focused on the Food and Beverage domain and requires a strong background in cloud computing, serverless architecture, and microservices. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid schedule, primarily on-site during specific weeks, and is expected to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud applications on the Azure platform.
• Implement serverless computing solutions using Azure Functions.
• Design and develop microservices using frameworks such as Spring Boot or .NET Core.
• Create responsive front-end applications using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Utilize backend languages such as C#, Node.js, Python, or Java for application development.
• Manage databases including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Implement API management using Azure API Management.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep.
• Manage identity and access using Azure Active Directory.
• Integrate various Azure services including Logic Apps and Data Factory.
• Monitor and log applications using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud application development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and its services.
• Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with backend programming languages including C#, Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of API management and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep.
• Understanding of identity and access management using Azure AD.
