About the position
The Azure DevOps Technical Lead will be responsible for leading a global DevOps team, focusing on Azure DevOps navigation, pipeline management, and repository oversight. This role involves setting up Databricks workspaces and managing Azure resources in accordance with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, providing technical leadership and support to ensure effective delivery across multinational teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers in Azure DevOps navigation, pipeline, and repositories.
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the delivery of teams spread across multiple countries.
- Provide technical leadership and support to DevOps teams working on Databricks and IaC.
Requirements
- 8 - 12 years of confirmed experience in Azure DevOps (ADO) with at least 1+ years in the medical devices sector.
- Experience with Terraform for deploying workspaces/resources within Databricks, including writing centralized modules and documentation.
- Expertise in YAML for examining and defining deployment pipelines.
- Proficiency in IaC principles and tools such as ARM Templates, Bicep, and Terraform for provisioning Azure resources.
- Strong understanding of Git version control for collaboration and versioning of pipeline configurations.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python for pipeline automation and modification.
- Experience in a global delivery model.
