About the position

The position is for a B-Roll videographer to assist in capturing footage during a Children's grade school Christmas Concert and its rehearsals. The videographer will work alongside a team of five videographers to create a 'making of' clip for the Blu-ray's special features. This role involves shooting both the event and the audience, as well as capturing behind-the-scenes moments during rehearsals.

Responsibilities

  • Videotape the Children's grade school Christmas Concert on December 19th.
  • Capture B-Roll footage during rehearsals on December 18th and 19th.
  • Film the sound and lighting setup process and the conductor and children during rehearsals.
  • Work collaboratively with other videographers to ensure comprehensive coverage of the event.
  • Record high-quality audio during rehearsals and the main event.

Requirements

  • Must have a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000, FZ1000 II, or GH series camera capable of shooting in AVCHD and/or 4K.
  • Experience in videography, particularly in event settings.
  • Ability to capture high-quality audio during video shoots.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience shooting school events or concerts.
  • Familiarity with sound reinforcement and stage lighting.
