Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Promote sales by ensuring high-quality products are available and presented well.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of bakery products based on time of day and promotions.
• Prepare and produce a variety of baked goods according to company standards.
• Operate bakery equipment safely and correctly, including fryers and ovens.
• Mentor new associates and foster a positive learning environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in food handling and workplace safety.
• Participate in accident reduction plans and maintain cleanliness in the bakery area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid State Food Handlers Permit.
• Valid Driver's License or State I.D. Card.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Mathematical skills for handling money and measurements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a bakery or food service environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
