About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Partners Bank plays a crucial role in business development by engaging with new and existing customers to promote and service deposit products and related services. This position requires strong relationship selling skills and product knowledge, as well as the ability to respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently. The representative may also handle teller processing responsibilities and is expected to contribute to branch sales initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Proficiently sell and service all deposit products and services, as well as some consumer loans.
  • Proactively engage customers to uncover needs and recommend appropriate solutions, closing sales opportunities.
  • Develop quality referrals for various products and services such as residential mortgages, consumer loans, and small business loans.
  • Provide outstanding service and assistance to customers and coworkers consistently.
  • Actively participate in and support branch sales plans, campaigns, and promotions.
  • Efficiently process teller transactions and perform all related tasks as required.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to resolve customer problems.
  • Understand and adhere to various policies and procedures including security, compliance, and operations.
  • Perform all other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a front-line banking or financial services position is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer sales, service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, technical, and computer skills.
  • Ability to adapt well and embrace change.
