About the position

The Bank Operations Specialist I at American Bank of Commerce is a crucial entry-level role focused on the setup, maintenance, and reporting of Internet Banking, Bill Pay, and E-Statements. This position ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and policies while providing excellent customer service and support. The specialist will interact with third-party vendors and handle various banking operations, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the bank's services.

Responsibilities

• Setup, maintenance, and reporting of Internet Banking, Bill Pay, and E-Statements
• Comply with all federal, state, and company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
• Wire transfer processing
• Dormant account reporting
• Interact with third party vendors involved in these processes
• Provide customer research on escalated issues
• Recognize cross sell opportunities and offer ABC Products and Services to customers
• Confer with customers to provide information about their accounts and resolve complaints
• Prepare change of address records
• Perform general office duties such as filing and answering telephones
• Develop, update and publish operating and workflow procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Some college preferred
• Customer service experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of ACH rules and banking regulations
• Conflict management skills
• Ability to perform 10 key typing
• Strong time management skills
• Basic computer skills
