About The Position

The Bar Porter is responsible for maintaining the bar facility, ensuring it is properly stocked and clean, while providing exceptional service that embodies Old-World Hospitality. This role supports bartenders and contributes to a high standard of cleanliness and service quality, focusing on consistency, quality, and urgency in a casino environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a bar or restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of alcohol awareness policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-shift meetings punctually with a positive attitude.
• Provide an exciting environment and world-class service to guests.
• Comply with food service sanitation, OSHA, and Hazcom standards.
• Stock and maintain the bar with necessary supplies.
• Assist bartenders in replenishing supplies as needed.
• Deliver high-quality food and beverage service to guests.
• Safeguard company assets and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Foster teamwork by assisting co-workers with essential functions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, cleaning spills immediately.
• Use chemicals responsibly and ensure proper labeling.
• Maintain floor cleanliness and use safety signage when necessary.
• Remove trash and waste, clean trash cans, and replenish liners.
• Deep clean the bar and operate the dish machine.
• Fill ice and maintain cleanliness in storage areas.
• Assist with special event setup and breakdown.
• Adhere to the 5S Principles for organizing supplies.
• Conduct oneself in a gracious and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
