As a Barista at our café located in Campbell Hall, NY, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages. Your primary responsibilities will include crafting hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, and smoothies, ensuring that each beverage meets our quality standards. You will also be responsible for taking customer orders, processing payments through our cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your attention to detail will be essential in following recipes and food preparation guidelines, as well as adhering to food safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies

- Follow recipes and guidelines for food preparation
- Handle food safely and adhere to food handling regulations
- Assist with stocking and inventory management
Requirements
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts, sales tax, and change
- Experience operating a cash register or point-of-sale system
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required
