Caravel Autism Health is committed to being the leader in ABA treatment for children on the autism spectrum. Our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) play a crucial role in the supervision and management of both center and home-based intervention programs and treatment teams for children with autism. The BCBAs are responsible for ensuring that clinical staff provide quality treatment that yields optimal results while adhering to all standards of care. In this role, you will oversee the full range of ABA treatment services, which includes conducting assessments, programming, progress monitoring, program modifications, parent training, care coordination with other providers, and managing insurance authorizations. You will ensure that all standards of care are followed according to state and insurance guidelines. Additionally, you will provide clinical recommendations regarding treatment intensity, modality, and transition/exit planning, working closely with parents and other stakeholders to deliver developmentally appropriate and socially valid client outcomes. Your responsibilities will also include evaluating and modifying treatment based on the Caravel Quality of Effective Treatment (QET) measure. You will provide training and supervision to clinical staff at all levels, ensuring high-quality treatment services are delivered. A significant aspect of your role will be to develop the independent clinical skills, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills of your supervisees while ensuring they meet certification requirements. Collaboration with other clinicians and cross-functional team members is essential, as is the timely completion of all administrative tasks, including generating reports, conducting insurance reviews, and completing necessary forms to secure appropriate funding for client services and staff management.
