Responsibilities
- Work closely with Engineers and other Designers to accurately interpret the engineering design of 3D PDMS model for offshore projects using PDMS.
- 3D PDMS modeling of electrical equipment inside LER (HV/LV Switchgear, Panel boards, transformers, MCT penetrations, JB etc), Power & Control Cable Trays, Cable Tray Supports, Lighting Fixtures & supports, Welding Sockets, JBs, LCS, power distribution boards, MCT, etc.
- 2D drafting/ Extraction of documents from PDMS: Cable Tray Layout, Lighting & Small Power Layout, Cable Tray Support Layout, Electrical Equipment Layout, MCT Layout, MTO.
- Customization, Templates & Cataloguing, and Macros for different applications using PDMS.
- Co-ordination with Inter-disciplines for clash checks & resolves.
- Prepare, review all documents/deliverables such as: Single line diagram, Electrical Schematic diagram, Interconnection diagram, Earthing Layout, Electrical equipment Layout, Hazardous Area Classification Drawing, Lighting Loop Diagram, Cable Block Diagram, Electrical Installation Drawings.
- Coordination with others/clients for clarifications regarding layout drawings, documents, and Installation drawings.
Requirements
- Diploma in Instrumentation/Electrical.
- Experience: 5-10 years for mid-level and 11-15 years for senior-level having relevant experience in the offshore Oil & Gas industry with specific experience in Electrical design for Offshore Oil and Gas facilities - Wellhead platforms, Fixed Process Platforms, FPSO topsides modules & Turret Mooring System.
