About the position

Golden Touch ABA is seeking a highly motivated Behavior Analyst in Training (BAIT) to join our dedicated team in Provo, UT. This position is ideal for individuals who are currently enrolled in a master's program and are pursuing their Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. As a BAIT, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while being supervised by our experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). We are committed to supporting your professional development by providing paid indirect hours towards your BCBA certification, allowing you to earn while you learn. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting patient assessments to determine behavioral needs and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client. You will design ABA curriculum plans, regularly review and update them, and create behavior intervention plans that are effective and evidence-based. Additionally, you will provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and other professionals, ensuring that they are equipped to implement the treatment plans effectively. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will meet regularly with the treatment team to discuss client progress and make necessary intervention changes. You will also work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that promote positive outcomes for clients. Regular clinical reviews of reports and session notes will be part of your responsibilities, as well as analyzing ABA data to implement data-driven program changes. Writing reports summarizing data and progress for each client you supervise will also be a critical aspect of your role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Master's degree program with applicable ABA courses.
  • Minimum of two years work experience providing ABA therapy preferred.
  • Ability to assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Have Basic Life Support certification, or willing to complete training within 30 days of hire.
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes or other clinic locations, based on client caseload.
