Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is seeking a dedicated Compensation & Payroll Coordinator to join our team at the Superior Township, Michigan facility. This role is pivotal in supporting our compensation strategy and payroll functions across multiple locations, including Michigan, California, Georgia, Alabama, and Massachusetts. The Compensation/Benefit & Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for processing timesheets, updating payroll records, and addressing employee inquiries regarding payments. This position is essential in maintaining a competitive edge in the industry by analyzing our current total compensation packages and collaborating with the HR team to enhance and optimize our compensation strategy. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure that employees are compensated accurately and on time, in a manner that is both equitable and competitive. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding the financial well-being of our organization, ensuring that our employees receive their pay accurately and punctually. The Compensation & Payroll Coordinator will develop systems to process payroll account transactions, coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems, oversee payroll changes, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies. You will also supervise and coach payroll clerks and assistants, liaise with auditors, manage payroll tax audits, and handle various financial compensations or deductions. Additionally, you will produce reports for upper management, respond to employee questions or complaints about salaries and payments, and collaborate with administrative staff to ensure accurate payroll records.
