About the position

The Benefits & Compensation Manager at ATI Restoration, LLC plays a crucial role in the Human Resources department, focusing on the planning and administration of employee benefit and compensation programs. This position involves close collaboration with HR and payroll teams to ensure effective processing of benefits and compensation, as well as researching and negotiating benefit plans, addressing employee inquiries, and resolving related issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, along with a thorough understanding of relevant laws and market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health & welfare, retirement, and wellness initiatives.
  • Evaluate benefits program offerings and performance based on company goals, priorities, and employee feedback.
  • Liaise with brokers and vendors to negotiate and coordinate contracts for new and existing plans.
  • Design, plan, and execute annual open enrollment including materials and communication strategy.
  • Resolve benefit-related issues and respond to queries and requests in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate daily benefits processing, including enrollments, terminations, and claims; maintain employee records and benefits files.
  • Collaborate with payroll and ensure that employer contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure missed deductions are accounted for employees on leave of absence.
  • Maintain and create records, reports, and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and provider regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all benefits and compensation related employment laws and regulations.
  • Execute automating benefits data feeds between ADP systems and benefits vendors.
  • Support Mergers and Acquisitions team and complete benefit and compensation analysis and make recommendations pre and post acquisition.
  • Administer and negotiate acquired company employee benefits and compensation plans and support transition to ATI plans.
  • Conduct market analysis to develop competitive compensation structures and policies amid a multi-state and distributed workforce.
  • Evaluate and recommend incentive pay programs for effectiveness and compliance.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or other related studies.
  • Minimum of 5 years as a Benefits Administrator, with at least 1 year in compensation management.
  • Proficiency with HR Management Systems (ADP/Vantage product knowledge is a plus).
  • Extensive knowledge of employee benefits models, retirement plans, and compensation models.
  • Working knowledge of relevant policies and regulations, including COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and ERISA regulations.
  • Advanced MS Excel skill level.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional HR, Benefits or Compensation certification preferred.
  • Experience with benefits enrollment software preferred.
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
