About the position

As a Benefits Coordinator at Risk Strategies, you will play a crucial role in managing and administering employee benefits programs. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate with employees regarding their benefits options and assist them in making informed decisions. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations related to employee benefits, as well as maintaining accurate records and documentation for all benefits programs. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to streamline benefits administration and enhance employee satisfaction with the benefits offerings. In this position, you will also be tasked with conducting benefits orientation sessions for new hires, providing ongoing education to current employees about their benefits, and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have. You will work closely with insurance carriers and vendors to manage the enrollment process, resolve issues, and negotiate contracts to ensure the best possible benefits for our employees. Additionally, you will assist in the development and implementation of new benefits programs and initiatives that align with the company’s goals and values. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing benefits data and trends to recommend improvements and enhancements to our benefits offerings. You will also be responsible for preparing reports and presentations for management regarding benefits utilization and employee feedback. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture through effective benefits management.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in benefits administration or human resources (e.g., CEBS, PHR).
  • Experience with HRIS systems and benefits administration software.
  • Knowledge of current trends in employee benefits.
