We are seeking a dedicated Benefits Coordinator to join our rapidly growing not-for-profit organization. This position is crucial as it involves administering our benefits programs for an amazing team of nurses, therapists, aides, and office staff. You will be performing meaningful work in an important position that offers variety and challenges, especially during busy times such as Open Enrollment. As a Benefits Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include coordinating the enrollment, administration, and tracking of various benefits programs such as FMLA, COBRA, Health & Dental Insurance, 403(b) Retirement Savings, and Flexible Spending Accounts. You will ensure compliance with up-to-date Federal and State regulations, maintain HR Information Systems, generate reports, track employee FTE statuses, and ensure accurate payroll deductions for benefit participation. Additionally, you will facilitate the Agency Wellness program and plan annual holiday parties and other employee events. This role is essential in providing comprehensive and personable HR support for our prestigious home care agency in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the enrollment, administration, and tracking of FMLA, COBRA, Health & Dental Insurance, 403(b) Retirement Savings, and Flexible Spending Accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with up-to-date Federal and State regulations.
  • Maintain HR Information Systems and generate reports.
  • Track employee FTE statuses and ensure accurate payroll deductions for benefit participation.
  • Facilitate the Agency Wellness program.
  • Plan annual holiday parties and other employee events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, or comparable professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of Benefits Administration experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience with ADP is a plus.
  • Impeccable communication and organization skills.
  • Current/Valid WI Drivers License and reliable/insured vehicle.

Nice-to-haves

  • SHRM - CP certification preferred.
