About The Position

The Benefits Specialist at BayCare is responsible for providing accurate and appropriate information regarding various employee benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, and more. This role involves assisting team members with inquiries and resolving related issues, processing benefit information, and handling status change applications. The position requires strong customer service skills to manage challenging situations effectively.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
  • 1 year of Customer Service experience required
  • 2 years of Benefits experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate benefits information on Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, Spending Accounts, Life, AD&D, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and Paid Time Off inquiries received in the Call Center.
  • Assist team members in resolving related problems.
  • Process benefit information into the Lawson and benefits administration systems.
  • Process status change applications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Handle challenging customer service issues.
