About the position

We are seeking a Benefits Coordinator for one of our best clients in the Lewisville, TX area. Our client is a leader in the eye care industry, constantly pushing boundaries through extensive research and cutting-edge technology to provide tailored optimized experiences for both eye care professionals and spectacle wearers. This position is crucial in assisting the HR team during the Open Enrollment season and requires effective collaboration with vendors, management, and employees regarding changes to existing benefits. The role is onsite in Lewisville, Texas, and is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The pay for this position ranges from $21 to $22 per hour. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up employee benefits in ADP, conducting audits, and providing information to explain changes in benefits to employees. You will also be tasked with answering employee queries about benefits plans and auditing benefits plans in employee profiles. Collaboration with vendors, management, and employees regarding changes to existing benefits plans is essential. Additionally, you will help reconcile benefit vendor invoices and coordinate Open Enrollment, which includes preparing materials and presenting benefit plan changes to employees. It is imperative to keep all employee personal information confidential. To succeed in this role, you should have 1-2 years of benefits-related experience, with experience in Open Enrollment being a plus. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (both spoken and written) is required. A solid understanding of various benefit plans, including Health, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA, Life/Add, STD, LTD, EAP, Voluntary plans, and 401K plans is necessary. Familiarity with Leave of Absence (LOA) and ADA is also important. The ability to present information clearly and understandably to employees and to answer their questions is key to this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of benefits related experience
  • Experience with Open Enrollment is a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish & English (able to speak and write in both)
  • Knowledge of benefit plans including Health, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA, Life/Add, STD, LTD, EAP, Voluntary plans, and 401K plans
  • Understanding of Leave of Absence (LOA) and ADA
  • Ability to present information clearly and understandably to employees
