About the position

At OneMain, Consumer Loan Sales Specialists empower customers by listening to their needs and providing access to friendly, fast, and affordable financing for life's expenses. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn the lending and servicing business at OneMain, allowing them to grow their career in a supportive environment. The Consumer Loan Sales Specialist will be responsible for delivering results related to individual and branch sales goals while also meeting customer expectations. This involves developing new relationships and maintaining existing ones, guiding customers throughout the loan process and lifecycle. In this position, you will present financial solutions tailored to customer needs, ensuring that these solutions align with their goals. You will also present optional insurance products to customers and educate them on the terms and conditions of their loans to ensure a clear understanding. Additionally, you will partner with local businesses to seek out and develop new customer relationships. Learning to utilize credit underwriting techniques and sales tools will be a key part of your development, as well as managing the life cycle of the loan, including collections activities, while complying with all relevant laws and regulations. This role offers a target base salary range of $18.00-$22.00, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a competitive additional compensation program based on individual and company performance. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with some extended hours during the week as needed, which may include Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver results related to individual and branch sales goals as well as customer expectations
  • Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships with customers throughout the loan process
  • Present financial solutions based on customer needs that meet their goals
  • Present customers with optional insurance products
  • Educate customers on the terms and conditions of their loan to ensure a clear understanding

Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Preferred: Sales, Collections or Customer Service experience
  • Preferred: Bilingual - Spanish
