About the position

The Bilingual Video Editor (Japanese) at IntelliPro Group Inc. is a contract position focused on editing and enhancing video content for marketing purposes. The editor will be responsible for maintaining brand consistency and improving video quality based on performance data.

Responsibilities

• Edit and re-edit videos for the app and create promotional video ads.
• Review rough cuts for any flaws, provide feedback, and improve video quality.
• Continuously enhance video content based on performance data provided by the marketing team.
• Collaborate with teams across multiple time zones to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure consistent communication and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
• Maintain brand consistency across all video projects in line with established guidelines.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of video editing experience in a marketing or creative team setting.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects (Davinci Resolve is a plus).
• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English (verbal and written) is preferred due to international communication.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for perfection.
• Creative mindset with the ability to match music to the narrative.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, meeting goals and deadlines.
