About the position

CFD Research is looking for a Bioinformatics Intern for summer 2025! This intern will be trained and responsible for supporting bioinformatic analyses, constructing machine learning models, and developing computational tools, databases, and graphical user interfaces for multimodal data. These bioinformatics and AI/ML tools will produce innovative solutions for health risk prediction for DoD, NIH, and other health and government agencies. US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Master's degree in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Computer Science or a related field
• Proficiency with a programming language (e.g., R, Python, Julia, MATLAB)
• US Citizenship required
