About the position

This position at Kaiser Permanente involves assisting with corrective repairs, routine preventive maintenance, and acceptance testing on diagnostic imaging systems. The role requires preparing diagnostic imaging studies for digital transfer and performing installations of various diagnostic imaging systems and associated equipment. The candidate will work autonomously while collaborating cross-functionally to solve business problems and support team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist with standard and non-standard corrective repairs on diagnostic imaging systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and acceptance testing on all diagnostic imaging systems.
• Prepare diagnostic imaging studies for transfer to a digital imaging environment.
• Install standard and non-standard diagnostic imaging systems and electronic image transfer systems.
• Maintain documentation of actions taken, including maintenance, repairs, and part replacements in a centralized management system.
• Conduct ongoing preventative maintenance of medical equipment, including inspections and functionality tests.
• Collaborate with team members to assist with scheduled preventative maintenance and respond to maintenance requests.
• Support and mentor team members, providing resources and expertise as needed.

Requirements

• Associates degree or vocational certificate in Electronic Service or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years experience in medical technology field service with medical devices and systems or a directly related field.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in technology field service or a directly related field.
