About the position

The Biomedical Engineer at Tulane University will play a pivotal role in a groundbreaking multi-year project aimed at enhancing surgical outcomes for prostate and colorectal cancer patients. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Computer Technology.
  • 3 years of experience in advanced computer technology.
  • Proficiency in Python development or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with and bridge technical and medical experts.
  • Proficiency in digital image techniques for medical image processing and analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ph.D. in a relevant discipline or a Master's Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Applied machine learning experience.
  • Background in microscopy and/or digital pathology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
