About the position

Our e-commerce website makes it possible for individuals to create, sell, and shop for unique fabrics, wallpaper, and home décor. Spoonflower's global marketplace connects our customers to more than 1 million designs by independent artists from around the world. We're on the lookout for a talented Blog Content Manager / Copywriter to join our Brand Marketing team. In this role, you'll craft compelling and engaging copy across a variety of platforms to showcase our wallpaper and fabric-by-the-yard offerings. From long-form articles to punchy advertising posts, you'll help tell our brand's story and connect with our audience in a meaningful way.

Responsibilities

  • Write and refine engaging long-form content for our website, including product descriptions, landing pages, and blog posts.
  • Write and manage content for our blog including how-to's, interviews, Q&A articles, and product stories and reviews.
  • Develop persuasive copy for email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, conversions, and customer loyalty.
  • Partner with SEM team to create compelling copy and CTAs for ad platforms, paid social, and affiliate.
  • Translate product copy to product packaging solutions for Spoonflower's physical products.
  • Create copy for creative briefs related to physical and digital sales collateral.
  • Maintain and enhance Spoonflower's brand voice across all written materials.
  • Understand and write for our diverse consumer segments, tailoring content to meet the needs and interests of both wallpaper and fabric enthusiasts.
  • Conduct research to understand market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience.
  • Proven experience as a digital copywriter, preferably in the home decor, lifestyle, or e-commerce sectors.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to create compelling messaging for various formats and platforms.
  • Strong familiarity with SEO best practices and email marketing strategies.
  • A creative thinker with a passion for strategic storytelling.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic understanding of analytics tools is a plus.
