About the position
Miller's Health Systems is offering a Nursing Assistant Training program designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The training is provided free of charge and consists of both classroom instruction and a clinical practicum. The program aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in long-term care facilities.
Responsibilities
- Complete 36-40 hours of classroom instruction with a passing score of 80% on all tests.
- Participate in 75 hours of supervised clinical practicum in a long-term care facility.
- Demonstrate all required skills successfully during the practicum.
- Maintain a clinical sign-in record, including date, hours worked, and signatures.
- Work with a preceptor for guidance in organization and time management.
Requirements
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Complete a TB test and physical examination prior to starting the course.
- Attend all classroom sessions to meet program requirements.

- Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving is a plus.
