About the position

The Auto Club Group is seeking a full-time member service representative to provide support services to members, including greeting, servicing, and selling travel and membership products. This role involves generating leads, updating members on travel and insurance specials, and providing essential travel information. The representative will also handle cashiering services, promote Auto Club Group products, and participate in team efforts to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide support services to members including greeting and servicing them.
• Sell travel and membership products such as car, hotel, and tour packages.
• Generate leads and update members on travel and insurance specials.
• Provide travel information including triptiks, tour books, and maps.
• Respond to customer inquiries and refer to senior staff when necessary.
• Provide cashiering services including taking payments and balancing cash drawer.
• Promote Auto Club Group products and services following established guidelines.
• Participate in a team environment to promote customer satisfaction.
• Receive and resolve member/customer complaints, seeking management assistance when needed.
• Participate in office events to generate revenue and improve member awareness.

Requirements

• Successful completion of Customer Service, Club, Travel and Payment Processing training within 6 months of hire.
• Attain the appropriate State Property & Casualty license within 60 days of hire.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment providing timely solutions to problems.
• Proficiency in Word software application and Excel software application.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with others in a work environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and exceed member expectations.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of basic mathematical calculations for monetary transactions.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in promoting sales of insurance, travel, club, and membership products.
