About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Branch Manager for the Salt Lake South area, responsible for leading and developing a diverse team while ensuring operational excellence and a customer-centric experience. This role involves coaching team members, resolving customer issues, and driving business growth through effective management and engagement with stakeholders. The position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and involves customer contact related to financial transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, develop and build a high performing team to execute on business strategies and achieve results.
  • Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding customer and employee experience, risk, and business growth.
  • Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of digital options.
  • Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners to deliver a customer-centric experience.
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.

  • Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports.
  • Ability to build and inspire a team with adaptability and accountability.
  • Experience in analyzing performance and executing plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Knowledge of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, and risk management.
