About the position

The Branch Manager at Accurate Personnel is responsible for driving the temporary and direct hire revenue growth of the branch to meet and exceed budgetary goals. This role involves a variety of essential duties and responsibilities, including recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining colleagues. The Branch Manager will provide continuous training and development opportunities for staff, establish and monitor goals and objectives, and create an environment that encourages open dialogue regarding performance and working conditions. Regular performance reviews will be conducted to assess each colleague's progress and career development steps. In addition to managing personnel, the Branch Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company practices, including I-9 compliance and reference checks. The role requires managing receivables within company guidelines and conducting collection calls as necessary. The Branch Manager will also maintain the operations and appearance of the branch, ensuring that all data entry is accurate and that the branch operates in accordance with company standards. The position requires a thorough understanding of financial and business reporting to effectively manage the market. The Branch Manager will drive business development efforts, create personal business development plans, and establish individual plans for colleagues to meet budget targets. This role also involves directing the work of at least two or more full-time employees and has the authority to hire or fire staff. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain colleagues.
  • Provide continuous training and development to colleagues.
  • Establish and regularly monitor goals and objectives for colleagues.
  • Create an environment for open dialogue regarding performance and working conditions.
  • Conduct formal performance reviews to assess colleague performance and career development.
  • Provide timely coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution discussions with direct reports.
  • Develop and implement motivational activities to maintain high morale and retention of colleagues.
  • Administer individual activity and result expectations for all colleagues within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating practices, including I-9 compliance and reference checks.
  • Manage and monitor receivables within company guidelines and conduct collection calls as needed.
  • Maintain operations and appearance of the branch according to company standards.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and understanding of operating systems.
  • Utilize automated reporting systems to manage and review branch operations.
  • Drive and manage business development efforts to meet or exceed targets and budget established annually.
  • Create personal business development plans to meet budget objectives.
  • Establish individual business development plans for every colleague to ensure budget targets are met or exceeded.
  • Create, deliver, and monitor target business development, recruitment, and retention activities and results objectives for each colleague.

Requirements

  • Previous staffing or industry experience required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in management, with commercial staffing experience preferred.
  • Proven performance in branch management, P&L responsibility, and sales management required.
  • Direct supervision of multiple direct reports required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Experience in the staffing industry for at least 1 year preferred.
