About the position

The Brand Strategist at Meta will be a key member of the global company marketing team, responsible for identifying brand opportunities across Meta's portfolio and developing strategies that guide brand decisions. This role involves defining brand architecture, positioning, and visual identity systems, while collaborating with various teams to create cohesive marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical and creative skills, enabling them to solve complex problems and drive alignment across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discussions and recommendations on appropriate brand types for new or existing products, services, and programs.
  • Lead discussions and recommendations for organizing brands and offerings in specific business areas.
  • Author strategic briefs for product, creative, and marketing partners.
  • Partner with creative, communications, media, policy, and product teams to develop cohesive go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and refine tools such as frameworks, decision trees, guidelines, and trainings to equip the company.
  • Collaborate with internal insights teams and external partners to design and analyze research and measurement.
  • Ensure the integration of brand and visual identity systems, identifying opportunities for new systems.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in a strategist or planning role at a brand-side company, agency, or consultancy.
  • Experience building, implementing, and optimizing brand foundations, including brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and design systems.
  • Fluency in brand architecture strategy and portfolio organization.
  • Experience with naming and product teams to inform product experiences and go-to-market executions.
  • Experience collaborating with dynamic and matrixed organizations.
  • Experience partnering with creative and/or design teams.
  • Experience leveraging data, research, and insights to inform strategies and recommendations.
  • Experience presenting to executive and senior leadership.
  • Ability to maintain an overarching view while zooming in on details.
