About the position

The Breakfast Chef at Artisan Restaurant is responsible for overseeing the breakfast program, managing the preparation of homemade breakfast foods, and leading the breakfast service to ensure a memorable guest experience. This role requires a dynamic individual with fine dining experience to contribute to the culinary team at a casual/fine dining restaurant located in the Delamar Hotel West Hartford.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the breakfast program and manage breakfast service.
  • Prepare homemade breakfast foods, including pastries and bread.
  • Cook à la minute egg and protein dishes.
  • Lead the breakfast service period to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high standards of food quality.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in an upscale dining restaurant.
  • Previous full-service hotel experience is highly desirable.
  • Mid-level kitchen management experience.
  • Fine dining experience.
