About the position

LMI is seeking a skilled Budget Analyst to support a Homeland Security client in Washington, D.C.. Successful candidates demonstrate competency in project execution, critical thinking, and customer service while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior. This position will require an active security clearance at the Secret level. You must be a US Citizen. Responsibilities

  • Perform all programming, planning, budget, and execution actions, including preparation of purchase requests, purchase requests, and inter-agency agreements, as well as processing obligations after award.
  • Prepare status reports on obligations and outstanding commitments, spend plans and related briefings, and budget exhibits.
  • Coordinate execution and tracking of funds for acquisition workforce training.
  • Enter data into government resource management systems.

Requirements

  • This position will require an active security clearance at the Secret level.
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • At least 5 years of federal budget execution experience
  • Experience working with the Treasury G-Invoicing tool
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities
