Budget Analyst

About the position

This position is located at US ARMY SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND DCS, COMPTROLLER BUDGET AND EXECUTION DIVISION FORT LIBERTY, NC. The role involves serving as a Budget Analyst in the Budget Execution Division, Deputy Chief of Staff, Comptroller (DCSCMP), U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC). Responsibilities include analyzing program and budget guidance and assisting program managers in relating their objectives to available funds.

Responsibilities

• Serves as Budget Analyst in the Budget Execution Division, Deputy Chief of Staff, Comptroller (DCSCMP), U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC).
• Analyzes program and budget guidance and instruction provided by higher headquarters to determine impact on USASOC operations.
• Assists program managers, MSUs and staff in relating their objectives to funds available.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position designated Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.
• A SECRET security clearance.
• Occasional TDY.
