About the position

The Business Information Consultant Senior plays a pivotal role in coordinating and consolidating various impact analyses for management reporting within Elevance Health. This position is designed for individuals who are adept at preparing executive summary reports that cater to various business segments in the Strategic Business Unit (SBU), facilitating top management decision-making. The consultant will conduct in-depth analyses and create visualization products that support descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, ensuring that the data presented is both actionable and insightful. In this role, the consultant will analyze and design solutions to meet diverse and complex business needs, often collaborating with both business and technical teams to implement new or enhanced products. A strong understanding of Elevance's internal business models and data systems, as well as the products offered, is essential for success. The consultant may also coordinate with external audits as necessary, acting as the central point of contact between internal departments and external auditors, thereby ensuring compliance and accuracy in reporting. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently, drawing up plans to address various issues and concerns that may arise. The consultant will leverage their expertise in SQL and complex data layers to provide leadership in evaluating consumer data from complex organizations, ultimately contributing to the strategic goals of Elevance Health.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidates and prepares executive summary reports for various business segments in the SBU for top management decision-making.
  • Conducts analyses and prepares visualization products for descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
  • Analyzes and designs solutions to address varied and highly complex business needs.
  • Collaborates with businesses and technical areas to implement new or enhanced products.
  • Coordinates with external audits as appropriate.
  • Acts as the central contact with internal departments and external auditors.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Statistics, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
