About the position

The Business Analyst for Revenue at The Vancouver Clinic is responsible for developing and reporting proactive business intelligence to support decision-making in contract reimbursement, revenue cycle, and project management. This role involves analyzing the financial environment, ensuring compliance with payor requirements, and maintaining the integrity of the Charge Master (CDM). The analyst will also be tasked with identifying pricing and contracting opportunities to enhance the organization's financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Build contract models and assist the underpayment team in detecting system problems and recommending viable solutions.
• Review and audit claim payments to ensure correct payor contract implementation.
• Maintain the overall integrity of the Charge Master (CDM) with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee routine monthly audits of the CDM.
• Maintain pricing changes at the beginning of the fiscal year and as dictated by circumstances.
• Provide consultation on the design of business processes related to revenue cycle.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of medical revenue components and their impact on financial statements.
• Responsible for annual budget figures regarding fee schedules and proposed pricing analysis.
• Analyze and interpret payor risk contract reports to advise on trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Revenue Management experience required.
• Medical Billing knowledge necessary.
• CPC preferred or similar coding certification.
• 3+ years' experience in Revenue Cycle processes.
• Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills required.
• Ability to create and perform presentations to all levels of the organization.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications in Epic applications: Resolute PB, Cogito Revenue Data Model, or Cogito Fundamentals.
