About the position

The Business Analyst (BA) will collaborate with various stakeholders including customers, software engineers, quality analysts, project managers, and external vendors to enhance integrated solutions through the company's platform services and microservices architecture. This role is dedicated to supporting a specific client's hub program while also being part of the Implementation BA team, with the potential to assist on other programs as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor data feeds, reporting, and APIs in production for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist Operations and Production Support in reporting and analyzing potential issues.
  • Lead discovery sessions and requirements gathering with customers and internal teams.
  • Interface with customers, operations, technology, and vendors to define requirements and specifications.
  • Document process flows to identify actors, inputs, outputs, and dependencies.
  • Define epics, user stories, and prioritize for project delivery design.
  • Create testable acceptance criteria and mockups to illustrate workflows.
  • Prioritize backlog for agile ceremonies and drive user story grooming sessions.
  • Interpret and consult on technical specifications such as data dictionaries and API specs.
  • Support all phases of the software development lifecycle and promote internal communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3+ years in software development or product business analysis.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Pharmaceutical and Patient Support Hub industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of technical specifications, including APIs, JSON, XML, and data dictionaries.
  • Ability to analyze problems and understand necessary components of a solution.
  • Proficient in gathering, documenting, and communicating business requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with planning and productivity tools, including Jira, Lucid chart, and MS Office Suite.
