Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans for each property addressing various potential disruptions.
  • Collaborate with property management teams, tenants, and relevant stakeholders to implement and regularly test business continuity procedures.
  • Lead business continuity exercises and simulations to evaluate the effectiveness of continuity plans and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to business continuity in partnership with Client.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for property management staff on business continuity procedures and emergency response protocols.
  • Manage and maintain emergency communication procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and emerging threats to continuously improve business continuity strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on business continuity initiatives, risk assessments, and program effectiveness to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in property management, with a focus on business continuity or emergency management.
  • Strong knowledge of business continuity standards and best practices in California.
  • Professional certification (DRI, BCI).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for business continuity planning and risk management.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
