About the position

FARHA ROOFING, an award-winning roofing company with locations in Wichita, Eads, Durango, Kansas City, Denver, Orlando, and Phoenix has an excellent career opportunity for a Business Development Manager with 3 years' experience with sales in a similar construction field. Our ideal Business Development candidate would have experience working in commercial construction or commercial roofing, can work effectively in a collaborative, team-based company, and has a proven record of consistently meeting sales goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, maintaining, and expanding business relationships with developers, real estate brokers, commercial property owners, engineers, general contractors
  • Produce qualified leads and provide contract proposals
  • Customer Service and management of client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Manage accounts and expand business relationships
  • Creating, presenting, or responding to proposals for specific customer requirements, including RFPs and industry-specific solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Three years of previous sales experience building relationships and expanding a client base in the commercial construction market selling products/services to property management companies, asset managers, REIT's, insurance agents, building owners, architects, developers, engineering firms, and general contracting firms
  • Strong knowledge and relationships in the construction market
  • Track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals and quotas
  • Previous construction sales experience preferred
