About the position

The Business Development Manager for TTH (Travel, Transportation, and Hospitality) at VaaridaTech is responsible for driving sales and business development initiatives within the IT consulting and services industry. This role focuses on building relationships with clients, understanding industry trends, and developing strategic solutions to meet client needs. The position requires a strong sales acumen and the ability to negotiate contracts effectively while maintaining a deep understanding of the Travel, Transportation, and Hospitality sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and business development initiatives within the Travel, Transportation, and Hospitality sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Identify business opportunities and develop innovative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through complex solution selling.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage client expectations effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree from an elite institute is preferred.
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role within the IT consulting or services industry.
  • In-depth understanding of the Travel, Transportation, and Hospitality sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and identify business opportunities.
  • Familiarity with IT solutions and digital transformation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in contract negotiation within the IT consulting industry.
