About the position

The Business Development Manager at Xceleration is responsible for driving sales growth by prospecting and qualifying inbound leads, understanding client needs, and creating a robust pipeline of opportunities. This role involves strategic outreach, collaboration with the marketing team, and utilizing cutting-edge technology to enhance employee recognition and reward programs. The position offers a hybrid work environment and aims to make meaningful contributions to the company's revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically research prospective customers and create outreach strategies that include multi-channel platforms and initiate sales opportunities
  • Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services
  • Test new strategies, audiences, and channels to generate opportunities
  • Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook
  • Engage in intro and exploratory conversations with potential customers
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Collaborate with the Business Development and Marketing team to understand product offerings and value propositions
  • Provide feedback to the Marketing and Business Development team on the effectiveness of lead generation strategies
  • Create and conduct outbound call and email campaigns, qualify inbound leads, and collaborate with teams for scheduling qualified presentations with potential customers
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and statistics, diligent in updating records in our CRM
  • Master contact management Jira and 6Sense
  • Handle inbound strategy calls, with the goal of converting calls into RFPs
  • Build a sales pipeline and maintain customer relationships

Requirements

  • 5+ years of prospecting, sales development experience, preferably in Employee Recognition/HR Software Sales
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate product value propositions, engage prospects effectively, and convey information clearly
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High proficiency using 6Sense
  • Proficiency with Hubspot or other CRM software
