About the position

The Business Development Manager for Employbridge is responsible for expanding market share through new business development and sales opportunities. This role involves generating new business through outside sales activities, nurturing existing customer relationships, and achieving sales goals. The position requires a dynamic sales professional who can effectively manage customer accounts and provide consultative support to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Expand market share through new business development and sales opportunities.
  • Generate new business through outside sales activities such as cold calls and prospecting.
  • Nurture relationships to grow revenues through existing customers.
  • Provide full end-to-end customer sales and account management.
  • Engage with decision makers during the buying process.
  • Target higher quality leads and leverage existing partnerships to expand the prospect funnel.
  • Act as a market leader through connections with networking groups and trade associations.
  • Conduct pre-call planning using market research to gain insights into customer challenges.
  • Provide consultative account management and post-sale support.
  • Lead strategic market-related conversations with customers and upsell additional products.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to sell at all levels in a company regardless of the industry.
  • Experience managing a sales funnel and developing key accounts.
  • Knowledge of what makes a business successful and staying updated on business developments.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize customer needs and deliver on promises.

  • Quickly assimilate relevant information and learn new tasks.
